The Apartment
A delightful apartment in Varadero, Playa de la Arena, Tenerife, with fully fitted kitchenette, one double bedroom with twin beds and fitted wardrobes, a sunny dining area with table and four chairs, bathroom with bath and shower, sitting area with large settee which converts to a double bed and a private balcony with sun loungers and uninterrupted views over the coast and the neighbouring island of La Gomera.
The kitchen includes an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and slow cooker as well as all utensils and crockery. Dining area has TV with BBC and ITV, CNN News and Eurosport as well as a wide selection of English language and local TV stations. There's a radio cassette player and a DVD player (DVD rental shop across the road).
All bedding and linen is provided and there's a washing machine, iron and ironing board available for guests' use.
Car parking is available outside the apartment.
Please note: beach towels are not provided.

- Two well stocked supermarkets within 2 minutes walk of the apartment and a large supermarket within 6 minutes' walk in the main resort of Playa de la Arena

- Buses run from outside the front of the building which give you access to all the main resorts of the island
The resort

Nearby Los Gigantes has a large marina where boat trips can be taken to see the bottle-nosed dolphins which inhabit these warm coastal waters. Incidentally, dolphins can often be seen at play from the balcony of the apartment and binoculars are provided for guests' use.
The small resort of Alcalá which borders Varadero to the south, has a pretty seafront with a long promenade and good restaurants around its small plaza. The next resort along is the stylishly up and coming resort of Playa San Juan where you can enjoy beaches, a marina and excellent dining. On the headland above
